Well I only got 12 right! I've never herd the phrase 'Failing means you’re playing' I think they just made that up or its some soft as shite east coast saying

I have yet to meet a Scot to whom this phrase can be applied.
A more common sporting phrase is "fitba is noo life an' death- its far mair important than that.'

Edit: D'oh! I found this BBC page which lists these sayings and I now see I totally misread "taking part". Of course it means "partaking". Somehow, I read it as if there was a part of something that was the "taking part". I can be such a dunce sometimes
