Now you've got me wondering.

It seems that the oldest forms of the rhyme were probably once a riddle, with the answer being 'egg'.  But once everybody knew it, it morphed into a nursery rhyme.  Except  that it also seems that historians persist in trying to link it to every battle in English history, which has nothing at all to do with eggs as far as I can tell.

First of all, I love you all and miss you. Been working a day job and a grave yard, so I did not even have the strength to log on. And a couple of months ago little Hasia had x-rays and we were told the devastating news she has scoliosis of the spine.We are still waiting for her appointment with the child specialist. He will determine if she has major surgery or back brace. I was so terrified for her feelings I went into a dark world Three years of specialist teaching her to speak after her illness and being abandoned by both parents and then this. But she is brave. I break into a sweat at night when she is in pain and can't position herself without pain. But she is still in Tai Chi with my son who has become her daddy and the two performed three times at the powerhouse theatre and did well. And they holidayed while I worked and still are going to stay at Castle Swan
At the end of month I will be down to two jobs in evening no more graveyard or days. OH HAPPY Day. Hi Az.

Hi, leelee! I'm sorry to hear about Hasia, no child deserves to be in pain. I hope she gets the treatment she needs and feels better soon. I've been feeling pretty damn low myself lately, and the reason I'm still up at 2am when I've got work tomorrow is that I've been writing down some thoughts in the hope that it would clear my mind somewhat. I don't know if it helped, really. I thought about posting it here, but it turned out to be a depressive piece of writing. But it's good to know that if I had posted it, I know that nobody would have laughed. Forumshire is home to a supportive and kind bunch of people, and for that alone I hope it will exist until the day the Internet collapses

Ringy it hurts my heart to hear you.you are exhausted. Travis started a business three years ago and has not had a day off since He sounds like you and it breaks me. Often his workers don't show up for the graveyard so Clayton and I go. It is so hard, but we can't let him go through it alone

I hope you all won't be disappointed in me but all my long hair is cut.Sort of sixties, sort of Lulu style like To Sir with love.When I had that neurological thing following the scary virus it just ruined the texture of my hair. I have had to cut it ever six months to bring it back.Now it is almost there, so I had all remaining bad parts cut off. Now it should be alright to grow. I will get Clayton to take a pic and show you. And you can yell at me if you want. All those years of growing. Oh well
