All of your pictures of Lucky have been really great, bungo. I hope you're able to focus on the positive memories. I understand what you mean about not being sure if you want pets in the future. I don't even consider myself a dog person, but I was a mess when we had to put down my step-mom's lab a year or two ago. I don't want to think about how I'm going to be when my cat's time comes. I picked him out from the shelter as a kitten and was always close with him, but I only get to see him once every two weeks or so now. :/

Thanks, Eldo. The community here was really helpful when I was going through that rough time. The encouraging and supporting words really meant a lot to me.

Something my mother, brother, and I did was make a shared folder on Google Drive where we uploaded all of our pictures and stories of Lucky. There are a lot of photos on there and some great memories, in fact I just plucked that photo from the Google Drive folder (there were so many pictures of her that I hadn't seen before). It's a great idea when photos are spread across family members, and different electronic devices. I'd suggest doing something similar, but start now. Don't wait. So you have that folder to look back on when you need to. Just a thought. Smile

That does sound like a really good idea. Most of us upload our pics to Facebook, but having a dedicated space for them would certainly be nice for that eventuality.
