I've caught a few songs off Bieber's new album too and like Halfy I was surprised that I actually kinda enjoyed them. Definitely seemed like a different sound for him, though still pop.

Now that Kanye's album is finally out I decided to grit my teeth and do the free trial for Tidal so I can listen to it. So far Chance the Rapper is the highlight (somewhat predictably as he is great).

I enjoyed it. Will listen to it again. Beats were enjoyable, liked a lot of the guest verses (Kendrick's on No More Parties in LA was the best, followed by the Chance one from early on), but Kanye's own rapping is still really corny a lot of the time, like Yeezus levels of corn.

I will say though that Kanye's ongoing Twitter meltdown and the sick burns he's suffered from Edward Snowden and Pizza Hut UK (seriously) are more entertaining than the album itself.
