Nah, even if if I had never been elsewhere and ToRn was the first place I had joined I would not have felt comfortable there and wold have drfited away anyway.
There really is no place like home when home is Forumshire with Bree just up the road. And Needlehole with Mrs Figgs shop and Odo's ever increasing businesses and the Fjordian Ambassadors palace and Mayor Kafria ragon avery, and of course the Duck and Muck.

Where else could I hear Wisey and Ally channeling, or marvel at Norc's artwork and drive Eldo to distraction whilst he does the best damn job of being an Admin anyone could? Why would I want to get my news from anywhere else but the NotP, The Bugle, State News and Chris? Where would I be without farmer Daves carrot field to fall into onto a drunken stagger home after a singathon with Halfwise and the sexyily attired Sherriffs department in the Duck and Muck.
Where else could I meet Ringdrotten when the ship brings him to port to share a laugh and a buckie or welcome Queen Tinuviel back from Valinor? (also for a buckie) And everyone else that makes Forumshie what it is.
No Halfwise, there really is no place like home.

My Missus poking me in the eye with her elbow because she's sick of me being a quote: "Dirty Old Hobbit" unquote on Forumshire, causing air to move at the back-thrust of her svelte elbow, making dust shoot against other dust particles, and so on and so forth, until a butterfly flaps it's wings in South America somewhere (a rain forest, I think) and causing Earthquakes in Tuscany... My neighbours have bought a dog and it runs about their garden barking like something demented, I have told them on various occasions that its disturbing our peace, its really loud and penetrating, its a large dog, you can hear it from 3/4 of a mile away. They dont seem to give a toss, their reply is, Its a dog, dogs bark'. Doh! I knew that, so what do I do? I would like to kill it, but I suppose thats out of the question? any suggestions? Mad

Do you know or can you guess what breed it is, and whether male or female?
From your description of "loud and penetrating" I'm guessing it's a hunting hound that was bread for a good loud bay that never tires. Rolling Eyes
