I saw the Black and White movie at school once, I don't remember any of it.

I read this early on in high school, but I can't remember who my character might be so far. Perhaps just another face in the crowd.

And now there was nothing but the roofs of houses, sweeping along like a great torrent of stones and rocks. Chimney-pots fell, and tiles flew from the roofs..."

You and Blue have the roles of the twins from the original.

But dont expect the book roles to necessarily play out the same, as Ive mixed and matched some bits.

If I know the trajectory of the original at all, and taking in considerations of all what seems the natural follow-on, the gils who aren't eaten will just have to do the mundane chores while the boys bastardrise each other. I can only approve, Petty, though I reckon stories like this in Forumshire can get you... well, you know.  Nod

Kind of why I haven't put the rest of it up Orwell.

I had an end planned, and what happens to the girls from the start and from before the um, disagreement with Figg, but in light of that disagreement the ending seemed like it might be related to the argument, even though it wasn't. If you follow. Which is why I haven't put it up.

Hmmm... and if you change it you might get yelled at for making it unrealistic or being untrue to the original. Story writing; just another thing that can get you killed in Forumshire.  Shrugging

Indeed (and the getting killed in Forumshire joke even got a pay off in it!) should I publish and be damned?

Hahaha, wow how weird, I haven't read the Flies in many decades and it is one of the books I am reading right now. Too funny Petty, do carry on please.
