Baingal!??
I didn't know there was a Bainsignal. Good to have something to pull out when times get desperate. It does feel somewhat like rescue has arrived.
Good to see you old girl! Is that peppermint perfume you're wearing?

Re: Where's that guy/gal?
so the great white hunt is on, for the once thought extinct, hardly seen & rarely sober Pettius Pisstius Buckiust. A relatively shy creature only coming out in off license hours. Habitats the beer vats of disused breweries, laying its nest on piles of rotting dog ends. The call of the Pettius Pisstius is only heard in the small hours of the morning & sounding much like a sobering up Banshee.

It's the strangest thing, my motion detectors around my hole are all detecting something out there, but I can't seem to find anything when I go out to investigate myself. I'm sure he can't evade the pursuit of our former Tech Admin for long, though.
Re: Where's that guy/gal?
Well, seeing as you are apparently, according to Odo, in your pyjamas in on of his rent-cheap holes, I'm not sure how much faith we should put in your perception skills.

Hey now, the pajamas are strictly for comfort. I'm capable of doing many things in pajamas.
Re: Where's that guy/gal?
Yeah, you're not a Howard Hughes-like character at all.

That, as a law student, is not meant to cast any personal asperions, I hasten to add.

I'll have you know I took my first shower in two weeks last night. I am so on top of things it's not even funny.

Re: Where's that guy/gal?
Hey, halfwise! No, it's not perfume - *crash* - it's definitely - *bang* - an encryption. See this flashing red light? That means - *kaboom*
... Sorry about the wall, Eldo! I'll pay for it. Anyway, that means somebody's using an encryption around here. A little jittery though. And good to see you too, by the way! Now if I can just get this thing working without it - *snap, crackle, pop* - doing that, I'll be able to take it on field tests. Smells like the test subject isn't that far away, either.

Re: Where's that guy/gal?
Honestly I find this hole a lot airier and more pleasant without that wall. Dunno if Odo will agree, though.
I've been using the palantir here to scan the area, and even though it can't penetrate encryption brackets on its own, running a cross-analysis on the results using data from the last Lore survey of Forumshire will reveal irregularities that may be a result of space-time distortion. That can at least clue us in if he starts to make a run for it. Though knowing the subject, I can't imagine he wants to get too close to Dave's farm at a time like this.

GB might be too busy with his erotic fanfiction, but my old-timer outreach program was not totally in vain.

Re: Where's that guy/gal?
Someone really should write the Cerative Corner story of Eldo as the Howard Hughes-esque character in his pyjamas and nightgown (I picture him a kind of Arthur Dent looking character) in his low rent hole in Rushock Bog with one of the walls blown out.
I would, but I really don't have the time.

Re: Where's that guy/gal?
@Blue, I'm glad to see the beginnings of such a tale over there.
Aww, you're missing out, Malick. There's a whole world hidden behind the forum. The smell of peppermint is one of the only indicators that someone is using encryption brackets {{{these things}}}, unless you are the intended recipient of the message or can break them somehow.
