The Heirs of Aragorn Empty The Heirs of Aragorn

Post by odo banks Sun May 01, 2011 4:30 am

What with the Wedding, and everyone's interest in all things Royal, I thought there should be a Thread to discuss palace affairs; a place to chat about the Heirs of Aragorn. Btw does anyone know which line of Aragorn young William belongs to?

No, Mr Tyrant, the Hewitt you're thinking of was a retainer or similar, Lady Di was married to Charles. Charles is father of two Princes, William and Harry. Here to help! Very Happy (You should pay better attention to history, shouldn't you. What you said in your last post could be very misleading).

I agree, Uncle Odo. I sometimes fear Petty makes things up to make him seem bigger and more important than he really is. He should remind himself that he is a Scotshobbit and not a scion of the Numenoreans. That is, he should know his place and not engage in idle (and maliciously made-up) direspeculation. That's what I think anyway - though I'm just a girl, of course.

All I will say is that the parentage of Harry is britains worst kept secret!
You should know by now a Tyrant never sullies himself with idle gossip, active gossip yes.

You are just making things up. You're as bad as those two Forumshire newspapers you seem to favor so much. News of the Pure. Isn't that one of them? (Archet Bugle readers don't read them, of course -- not every edition...) News of the Pure! Pure rubbish, is what I say. Now, Petty, you know how fond I am of you, but pleeeeeasssse! Rolling Eyes

Who is this Hewitt fellow? I'm afraid I'm not as well-versed in royal gossip as you Commonwealth folk are. Question

James Hewitt (born 1958), a former British household cavalry officer in the British Army, had an affair with Diana, Princess of Wales for five years He received extensive media coverage after revealing details of the affair.- from Wiki.
Fails to mention Di was a bit of a tart- or a troubed women, take your pic, but for a married women she was pretty lose with it having had up to an estimated 10 affairs. People tend to forget all that amidst the 'People's Princess' nonsense- I never liked her, she was manipuative and devious- used to do things like make sudden appearences in operating theatres at childrens hospitals and the like making sure it was in utter secrecy- except the right press folks- next day its papers full of compasionate Di at sick childrens bedside. And all that peering out fro under her fringe to seem shy and demure.
Nah driving her off the road was probably good for the long term of the Royal Family (and besides can't have a potential Muslim heir- especially not when the father is the son of a very disliked man- and the Monarch is the Head of the Church of England it'd be complicated!).

I agree very much about Lady Di, Petty, but Harry looks as much like Di's grumpy brother as he does this roguish Hewitt chap. And, no, I'm not suggesting her brother's the father either! Rolling Eyes

Btw if Charles and Camilla were good looking, I'm sure their's would be the Love of the Century. Imagine Brad Pitt and Angelina Jollie - and a true film about true love! That's the one thing I grant old Charlie and Cammy --- it must be true love.

I suppoe there is some likeness to D's grumpy brother. Agree about ole Charlie and Camilla. Give that story a different spin, young Prince who loves a married women, she gets divorced but he still can't officially be with her even though they are madly in love and spend every moment together. but Royal protocol demands an official heir and he is forced to marry a devious, manipualtive women who has affairs, turns the media against him and evilly turns people away from him and in support of her.
For all we know thats closer to how it actually was!

Not sue how I can put this without sounding terrible but the differenc ebetween Kate and Di so far seems to be that in public Kate 'knows her place'. I am sure its very different i behind closed doors but in public she never seems to step out of ine, upset the apple cart or any of the things Di came to do. And I think Wills and Kate have already been a 'couple' longer than DI and Charlie were married for. So heres hoping they know what they are doing- rather them than me, even for all the palaces.

They are definitely in love, Kafria. I feel it in my waters, It's so lovely, isn't it. As to Charlie and Cam, I'd watch Petty's movie. It could be authentic (except for having attractive actors to get people through the doors).
