I put it in google translate and it tells me the translation is "errmerrgerd". Then it suggests 'did you mean 'ermergherd'?'

So I put 'ermergherd' in there and it tells me the translation is 'ermergherd'. Mad

I believe 'men stroing tenner' means 'with teeth clenched'. Hence the 'errmerrgard'/'oh my god' oh never mind...

Stroing is not a Norwegian word.
Men stroing tenner would be something like:

"But stroing teeth/ignite" or "damage/injury -something- teeth/ignite."

I have tried to think of what word you are trying to find though, but I am drawing a complete blank of what we'd say to say "with clenched teeth". Shocked

Actually it came out right the first time I did google translate with 'clenched'. Then I had to do 'gritting' to make it pop out. 'while gritting teeth' = 'mens stroing tenner'.

Unless you are suggesting google translate is not the perfect arbiter and last word on Norwegian. Suspect
