I like the dwarf designs and the style in general, and I look forward to this one 
Bilbo's feet do look pretty bare, but I can live with that if they don't go all Jackson on additions and omissions.
A related movie made me laugh
Seems like the guy has about as many issues with Tolkien as he does with the films, but still funny

I'd heard about this but not seen any of the photos or videos before. I'm a little surprised to see an animated fanfilm since animation is such a time-intensive process, although computers ease the process even when working with traditional animation styles. This could be pretty neat.

The 1st animation I liked better than the 2nd, The drawings of the Dwarves were much more of my imagination of The Hobbit than Peejers fooked up ideas ! 2nd Animation reminded me of Disney's "Sword in The Stone"

Came across a (relatively) new image (you'll have to zoom out, it's huge). I really like the designs, so one can only hope that they don't go all Rampage Jackson on the script. If they don't, this could turn out pretty good {{ I want it to be good

Is the November 26 date on that image a release date? It's been ages since the last high-profile Tolkien fan film. Heck, now that I think about it, I don't think there has been one since the semi-coproduction of The Hunt for Gollum and Born of Hope came out several months apart in 2009. It would be nice to see another one, especially something animated.

something well animated and well written would be good. I mean we have Jackson's version which is well animated but not well written, and the R&B version which was written pretty close to great but the animation was a bit lacking but great for the day. An updated cartoon Hobbit film would be pretty cool IMO

I like that Jackson's treatment to the source material has become a verb; "going Jackson on the script is considered disrespectful to fans of the original."

I had heard about a Brazilian animated Hobbit fanfilm as well, Forest, so I assumed this was the same thing. Poking around on the Facebook page, however, it appears to be animated by a Dutch guy.

I think the Brazilians made a BEREN and luthien adaptation as well, via The Lord of the Rings Project I think. It was pretty good, but didn't have subtitles...
