That just sounded too weird so I had to look into it. Apparently it's a complication that can arise from plastic surgery on the breasts because some of the chemicals in cigarettes mess with the recovery process by limiting blood flow. It can also affect different body parts after other surgeries. Your nipples won't spontaneously fall off though, fortunately.
