"From him they learnt many things it were not good for any but the great Valar to know, for being half-comprehended such deep hidden things slay happiness; and besides many of the sayings of Melko were cunning lies or were but partly true, and the Noldoli ceased to sing, and their viols fell silent upon the hill of Kôr, for their hearts grew somewhat older as their lore grew deeper and their desires more swollen, and the books of their wisdom were multiplied as the leaves of the forest."

Re: Neverwhere
Ahhh, another internet moment where you see a link, light up and think "hey I know that person... um, no I'm used to seeing that name caus he/she posts lovely userpictures on LJ, which I may have commented on only once or so..."
... and you still think it's nice to see a familiar username in a new place.

naw, i have no idea who it was, but i replied on a post she/he made about neverwhere being inavailable and then she/he sent me that link ^^ aaah, the internet is a wonderful place *sigh*
Re: Neverwhere
Norc Neverwhere is one of my top 3 favourite books, you should read it, you miss some wonderful descriptions in the radio play, it is very good but the book is better. Cumberbutch is very excellent though I must admit.

Re: Neverwhere
Neverwhere is that rare book where every character is brilliantly written, even the minor ones like Old Bailey, its like Alice in Wonderland for our times.

Re: Neverwhere
yeah! I think it is such a pity, that the radio play only consists of 6 parts
