LOTR film 4??

I was reading in The Guardian the other day about The Hobbit and films beforehand, and the rumour is that LOTR 4 is to be put into motion? is this true or is this false hopes printed to let us good fans down? :-(

what? what would they make LOTR 4 out of? If the hobbit is LOTR 4, 5 and 6 then I don't know.

interesting news, when did you say your saw that article ? Are you in Uk ?
I spose LOTRs 4 could start with "The scouring of The shire", but then where would it go ? Theres no more to be done. PJ, I think, has had his fill of LOTRs/TH, its costly,time consuming, He & all other actors would be tied down,yet again, away from home & not being able to do any other role, I think PJ has enough with The Hobbit now, & I should think he'd wanna do other things.

That's crazy. 
No way there's going to be another lotr movie. It'd have no plot to cover or anything unless we're talking reboots.

I hadn't heard anything about a fourth film and I'm not sure what they'd base it on. 
I suppose you could consider The Hobbit part 1 to be LOTR 4 if you wanted to though.

Hard to do the Scouring of the Shire now, since Saruman's been impaled on the spiky wheel thingy.

maybe they are doing a mega EE edit, adding all the stuff they cut the first time, that would add up to a 4th film. They could cut the spiky wheel thing.
