As I mentioned in another thread, I'm not going to be able to visit Forumshire for a few days, starting tomorrow, because I'm visiting with family. I expect to be able to come online again sometime next week, probably around Wednesday. The forum had better be all in one piece and not under the thumb of some depraved Scotshobbit when I get back!

Now, now Eldo, I've learnt my lesson! I've still not got my buckie supply back from Queen Tin yet. They seem not to like giving things up once they've acquired them Royalty. Especially buckie. And especially Queen Tin.

And, oh dear I just remembered the main reason I myself came on today was to say I will not be back until around Christmas. Things to do, can't say, Orwelll will right just volumes on my poor character and my telling, so zipping the lips.

Somehow I can imagine Petty and Orwell as King Arthur and Merlin. It would be like one of those historical comedy films (well I say like, but I only know two...) where they're always getting into trouble, accidently declaring war on neighbouring states y'know, just making a right pigs ear of the whole thing!

That's why I would never support any revolution led by those two! Y'know the say- if you want anything done do it yourself!

Shame you are temporarily leaving us leelee- just when we are all getting to know each other too- hurry back and safe voyage whatever it is you are up to- take some buckie pie - it will sustain you in hard times, raise your spirits with its buckie content in low times and you can brain a wolf with it in an emergency, or even feed it the pie and watch it die of a heart attack!

Well, I'm back. I spent about five days in California with my aunt, uncle, and three-year-old cousin. Not really any pics to speak of, but I had a good time. It's nice to be back (and not have a revolution on my hands), though!

By the way Eldo, what part of California were you visiting? Did you stop by Oakland for a quick Police Riot? (Fortunately my local "Occupy" actions have been a little less fraught). Next time you're out here, if you're anywhere near Monterey Bay Area send me an email.

My uncle lives in Mountain View (near Palo Alto), so I was in the SF Bay Area the whole time. We went up to San Francisco one day and I was tempted to hop across the Bay Bridge to visit the Occupation, but ultimately decided against it. I didn't know/remember you were in the Monterey Bay area though; I'll have to keep that in mind.
