really? So when they go paperback they cheapen everything, huh? But it will definitely expand your audience. It's sort of the difference between a lunch date and a dinner date, and on Amazon they are essentially all blind dates. So people are more likely to take the leap of faith for a paperback.

It was cheaper because of the paper used. Before to really utilize the colored images I used the highest quality cream paper, now I just used regular black and white so the colored photos are gone. They now appear as sketches.

I did this because my other book, Middle-earth Lore, has all the images and more with high quality paper to do colored images.

photos => sketches.  Wow.  But it seems you made all the choices not the publisher, that makes the blow somewhat easier I suppose.

Agreed, it is now self Published and it allows freedom! Gain and lose.

{{ Supposed to arrive Tuesday, but we shall see, mail companies have a bad habit of treating where I live as an island, which gives them a caveat on delivery times, its not an island, its a peninsula but as the only route in is over the notorious mountain pass whose name says all you need to know, the 'Rest and Be Thankful', most of the time they have to move stuff in by ferry, hence treating us if we are on an island. But you never know, sometimes they surpsise. Irony is the Amazon distribution centre is a twenty minute ferry trip over the water, I could probably pick it up personally faster! }}

Not sure if this counts as a teaser for the review or not, but I will say when I first picked it up to read I had to put it back down for an hour very shortly thereafter due to an overload of crabbit, and I had only got so far as reading the dedication page!   }}
