Fanvid from a relatively new Who fan vidcreator, JCF Productions- they are obviously a big fan of the Doctor/Clara relationship (out of 8 vids its the theme of all Cool

but I felt they do a great job because of this of highlighting that dynamic.
The first one is quite long but is a sort of fun, enjoyable recap of her and the Doctor's entire story.}}}

{{If possible watch the next episode soon after, series 9 is a series of sort of two parters, stories and characters continue but style and tone change completely. Like all of series 9 there is a lot of pushing the form and shape of what the show can do and be including in how they do two-part stories. Its a series worth watching in two episode at a time chunks when possible.}}}}

Hahaaa!! As if we've ever done this the easy way?! But we usually do see more than one episode if we can. And Finrod hates 'to be continued'' so that's 1 and 2 done.

I liked 1 better this second time around, bigger screen and not so tired eyes and more time have passed. Finrod liked the tank, I had a few gigglesnorts actually. Not a fan of the sunglasses, no matter the good intentions, but what can you do? Think it helped having imagined Clara dead and gone for this long, i imagined she was not the same Clara as in previous series and that made this actually a nice way to spend some time.

((Edit: Perhaps having partially been watching/being subjected to 'The Blacklist' prior had some positive effect... ))

Series 9 and 4 are the only series of New Who which I liked every episode of, the Zygon 2 Parter was one of my favourite stories for several years.

(And I loved the Sonic Sunglasses, less conspicuous/gimmicky and more practical than a sonic screwdriver, it's good to see the Doctor tinkering with stuff again, it fits very well with the 12th Doctor's series 9 personality, and it's a cheap prop for cosplayers and children to play around with pretending they are the Doctor)

Fin said "it's probably no (important)", so that's 3 and 4 down as well. We'll manage even if we don't see it, I'm sure.

They do paint with a broad brush when they want something to be noticed, like Clara and Doc's 'i had to say something' chat in the Tardis. This was far more subtle with Cass, Clara and err.. translator dude in the Faraday cage, and still the message was clear enough. Cap is lovely, I do so love expressive faces. Nice Daredevil/oldBeethoven nudge with Cass and the in the corridor, fairly broad strokes there too though. Slightly plot holeish that lip reading is so difficult suddenly, but ok. So far this series feels like a continuation of 10's run, and everything annoying happening in between can be ignored and forgotten, and that makes me happy.
