Never understood the premise of online poker- how do you play poker if you cant see the other players to judge their character and when they are bluffing or not?

It's perfectly possible to call a bluff online as well, but you've got to consider how long they think, how much they bet, and what they bet pre-flop, flop, river, turn and so on. Pretty much just the same as regular poker A good poker player shouldn't give up his hand with body language anyway, so it's basically the same. At least in my experience. Online poker will never be comparable to sitting around the table with a few friends, though, where beer, lively chat and good spirits are key ingredients

I feel like grandma everytime I go into facebook, and the non-obvious interface style has been creeping into everything. Why can't it be obvious anymore where you need to click? I shouldn't have to go search for the 'compose' (non) button every time I write an email

Forumshire is sensibly designed: it has buttons to click, and icons to click are surrounded by button looking things.
But the modern trend on webpages is to just have ordinary text, sitting along the left, or up in a menu bar. You see that here in the green "forumshire: The hobbit Movie Forum::Other Topics" text along the bottom. But unless you KNOW you're supposed to click it, you don't know if you should or not. Not impressed with that kind of design.

oh yeah see what you mean, on Youtube theres this annoying .... thing but vertical that you can click if you are not impressed with the vid offerings on the first page. it took me ages to figure that one out.
