I think it's charming there's a children's music category.

Blatt Rom sounds most like what I'd want out of a blues band.

The country sounds more like folk country that you mainly hear in coffee houses around here, and I suspect over there as well.

Dance band music sounds rather generic, like several influences melded together to create something to be played at big fund raiser dinner parties.

ok the intro sequence was really cool!!! many of these songs i didn't know was norwegian

Did Royksopp win? I ask because I actually recognized that name (cause of mentions on here).

The Royksopp video looked great, though I hadn't the slightest clue what was going on.

But maybe that's what Fjordlandian music videos are like. I remember the "What does the fox say?" video sent waves of perplexity throughout Forumshire.

Those two songs by Karpe Diem are really important I think. The other song by them there "Det er så lett å være rebell i kjellerleiligheten din", which basically means "It's so easy to be a rebel in your basement flat", really calls out the casual zenophobia and racism that exist in present day Europe. Particularly propogated by so called keyboard warriors, that really seems to be bubbling to the surface with the present refuge crisis.

Honestly, the lack basic humanity and human dignity in our day and age really troubles me. We look at the past with such distain, and yet we are making all the same mistakes..
