Hmm...make a vague point which can't be argued down...60 percent of the time it works every time. That's what a wise newsreader called Ron told me anyhow...

(((((((( cyclops Odo- you there? Nice robe. Listen we have to talk about Mirabella, she's out of control since the Sarg thing. Do you know what's she's doing, she's got your lambing clippers, and not the ones for wool and she's going around threatening to cut.....oooh I can't even say it without my eyes tearing up! Its too much. The contents of a scotshobbits kilt are sacred! Sacred Illuvatar damn it! But I have a plan, as you know the Summer Picninc is approaching, and what's a picninc without skulduggery, scheming and dressing up to humorous effect? No sort of picnic, thats what. So here's what I'm thinking, we involve the others in an audcacious plan (the right sort of others of course-ie male) to kidnap Mirabella at the picnic and we imprison her in Our Lady until Jane can sort her out. Because if we don't...snip...snip.. pale ))))))))

Glad you brought this thread back to attention.  Reminded me of just how unruly the fair sex is.  Must explain why I can never think straight in their presence.  Yes, we must needs find a way to keep them out so we can have a proper discussion.  You know, about...stuff.

I think the problem with this thread was Odo didn't disguise it well enough; he simply doesn't have a properly devious mind.  Perhaps we should create a "No Chocolate, EVER" thread.  They wouldn't come anywhere near that one, methinks.

I think the more precise title would be "The thread that never discusses chocolate". But then you minxes would just drop in and discuss chocolate just because it had been expressly forbidden, wouldn't you?

{{{ Orwell, there's got to be SOME topic that will do the trick. The problem is they seem to have some abhorrence towards being predictable. Not like us men: if someone created a "no beer or fried foods" thread, would you find it being inspected by a single male? Not likely! }}}
