How do you feel about PJ's Tolkien Adaptations (hopefully) coming to an end?
The End Is (Almost) Nigh (probably)! (poll)
This poll is probably a foregone conclusion, but in the interest of fairness I wanted to gauge how much interest/hope/anger/boredom/amusement their remains as we come to BOTFA.

I had to pick 'other' as for some misbegotten reason 'extremely crabbit' is not an option (which has made me extremely crabbit!

You would be crabbit about them ending? Surely it's a cause for celebration?
Or do you have a soft spot at heart?

When you say 'Relived", do you mean, would it be good if someone 're-lived' all the movies? Like, 're-did' them? I can vote for that idea!

No they exist still, will always exist. Just because they have ended doesn't mean its over. It will be there forever. If thats not a crabbit inducing thought I dont know what is (ok I do, a world without buckie is worse, but only just!)

Re: The End Is (Almost) Nigh (probably)! (poll)
Bungo had to take some time off to deal with a family matter.
Now that you bring it up, Mrs Figg hasn't posted for about three and a half days. Hopefully she's just got something going on this weekend.

Thanks Eldo.
Thoughts with Bungo whatever the matter may be.
And I knew I had a crabbit build up, its not having Figg about does it. Thats typical of her not being here and knowing it makes me crabbit!!!

Re: The End Is (Almost) Nigh (probably)! (poll)
Those are weird results, it seems we are relived it is over, but conflicted as to just how relieved we should feel (given the next two most popular options are 'sad' and 'indifferent' it seems people are more annoyed that they don't care that much.
I'm partially sad it's coming to an end, but it's more upsetting to know I'm largely positive about BOTFA being Jackson's last 'adaptation' of the books...

That's a very incisive summary of the forum lately.

So having watched the last trailer, and now only about 5 weeks until TORn start campaigning for a Silmarillion film away until BOTFA is out, anyone feel different?
