What phone do you have?

If we were to make an app, what platforms would it be for?

I am so crabbit I refuse to have a phone. I get crabbit enough when I'm talking, its worse when I am listening to other people Besides if I'm out its because I have stuff to do and I'm busy, so why would I want to take a phone with me just to get interrupted all the time by calls and annoying texts? Its a modern madness. If you cant get hold of me its because Im too busy to bloody well speak to you or read your text. Live with it.

I have a phone that lets me make telephone calls. Thats it. Its old school.

Been on Android since 2009, recently got a Samsung Galaxy S5, no plans to switch any time soon.

Likewise Figgy, I got an old Nokia 2630, its 7yrs old, bog standard, I text & thats it. Best of all I can switch it off & no one can get hold of me !......( after Ive pestered them that is )

Never liked 'em. Nor the spelling. I have one in the house, yes, but 'you' better call for a reeellly good reason or I don't pick up. Acceptable reasons include... well I can't think of any right now.

I won't even talk about grey things on the fone!

I have a Moto X, love the near-stock android feel of it. Wish I could get a Nexus 5, but Verizon doesn't carry them.

that thought I was thinking; and to my dismay 'grey or white, white or grey' was all we could say!

I think it was initially an argument between Elthir and Dave over whether Shadowfax was grey, silver, or white (maybe just grey or white, particularly where the distinction between those two should be drawn, and whether "grey" could mean "(something close to) white" in horse-related circumstances).  And there was a big search of Tolkien's writings for references to horses of these colors at some point.  It became a self-referential meme a long time ago, though.

Back to fones: full disclosure: I was 'forced' to take a cell phone when I travelled alone to Canada once (to Mount Royal). I don't speak Canadian so I didn't see the point... anyway I have no idea what happened to it.

That was the only time I held one, I swear! I don't think it was a smart-fone, but it did take pictures for those who knew how, or cared, to turn it on.

Were there mounties?

I have the same cell phone as Walter White.

I didn't see any Mounties... but at one point I used Canadian money to buy food and was told that I had used fake money (I think there was a picture of a bird on it? Or something). Anyway I had no idea, but yet feared the law for a moment...

... yet then I realized my past behorsings would hold me in good stead with any red Rohirs, or at least their mounts.
