You have to have the 'feel' first, I should imagine it just flows thru this chap right down to his finger tips.
And I do like that chair Dave !  Smile Nod

Some of his furniture can have a dark side too. I've sat in this chair. It's made from a large maple burl and ancient spruce knots. It's quite comfortable but somehow feels...not evil exactly.... Maybe sinister is the word? scratch

Beautiful Az! Smile

When I see webs like that, it reminds me that many of the Native Peoples have stories of Old Spider Woman who taught the first people to make nets and weave cloth and baskets. I can imagine an old Neanderthal woman half a million years ago looking at just such a web and thinking, "Oooooh! I could catch birds and bunnies a fishes with one of those, just like sister spider! Nod "

You're quite romantic in a spiritual kinda way  Smile  I appreciate all the hard work that spidy does in making these things. Some are beautiful, especially if they catch the dew drops from early morning. I actually feel sorry for the spider if his web gets ruined & he has to do it all again !

No idea if it's real or not, but it was a fun read all the same, and this supposedly happened not far from where I live Smile

Great story! I'll say it definitely has the ring of Truth from an American perspective.
If the Fjordlanders can confirm that filling the enemy's snowsuit with snow is within the normal rules of engagement, I think we can be fairly confident this happened pretty much as written.Nod Very Happy

As to Norc's whereabouts - she seemed to have a lot going on, so she didn't have time to pop in today. No worries, though, I'm sure she'll be back and lighten things up soon enough Very Happy

Weve been having our annual Airbourne show again. These planes, Lancasters, are brutes ! they are massive. The show ends tomorrow (sunday) with a spectacular Fireworks display in the evening.
