You're but a young pup. I've got 24 years.
But....now it's all you! Soon the 'rental units are largely out of the picture. The universe is nervous.

Re: Tales of Home [5]
thank you thank you
grades.. like erm... i dunno how to translate, but like points i guess.... like you need to have at least that-and-that to get into medicine for instance, it's calculated from average grade + exam grades + plus points for science thing/in depth thing.. Ringo ? help me out here, i dunno how to explain "karaktersnitt"

"karaktersnitt"!
Is it anything like old Aunt Edna who goes into a character snit every time you mention her age?

Re: Tales of Home [5]
We might call that a bio sketch or if looking for a job, a resume'. Hell only knows where that last one came from, sounds like one of those French atrocities visited on the English language.

Re: Tales of Home [5]
no, not a resume i think, more like "how well u did in school"-thing. it's just a number between 1-6 (just like grades) but it's based on all the grades and what u chose as like a main thing..
Re: Tales of Home [5]
Yeah, "karaktersnitt" would be your average grade.
Which you calculate by adding up all your grades (using the medium betwen exam grade and the general subject grade in the subjects you have had an oral exam and the exam grade in the subjects you've had a written exam, I think) and dividing them by the number of subjects. You then multiply that by 10 to get your total grade points and add a couple of points if you've focused on science or languages in your subject composition. That's it, as far as I remember at least.
And that score determines admittance to University courses and so on.

Oh, and congratulations on being done. Must feel amazing. And on your exam of course. Thoroughly impressed.
Funny you should get History for your last oral exam as well.

That's still less creepy than the original painting.
Fake edit: see >here< His description of the painting's symbolism is also hilarious:

IMO the John Daker "concert" is the internet's best kept secret. The videos don't have millions of views, and they never really went viral. Some people don't find them funny, but I think they're a fucking hilarious train-wreck.

For some reason I wish kangaroo MMA was a thing now. I'd watch that on pay-per-view.
