I have noticed a distressing percentage of the dog population doesn't 'get' this game.  I've known one dog who will happily bound after the stick (correct), return and meekly drop the stick (correct) just out of reach (Banghead )...and watch you carefully.  As you make a move for the stick, with a sudden change in demeanor he'll grab it and go bounding away triumphantly, then come back and drop the stick again, just out of reach.

It's a game.  Games have rules!  Extremely Crabbit

Figgs-the particular species my daughter has there might get to 70 cm at the very largest, the one she caught is about 45 cm and considered nice sized for this area.  You may be thinking of river catfish, which may grow to be large as a human.  Also, lake sturgeon can get to be quite large.

oh yes I think it was Sturgeon  Very Happy

It could be that the owners forget to actually teach the dog to bring the object and to let go of it on command.

Our Doberman liked to play 'log'. Shame I can't seem to find get a hold of the picture. Stupid network thing... *mumble mumble*

So that's why you didn't know the game 'stick'. You play 'log'.  Razz

Well, we'd throw a stick and he'd grab whatever and maybe return it.

And I did know what 'stick' is, but perhaps it will teach me to word my jokes more carefully. Nah, it probably won't. Wink

well, we didn't really teach our dog any particular game because we wanted a dog that didn't go bat-shit crazy whenever one picked a ball/a stick up and couldn't focus on anything els.

I cant remember when we had a good thunderstorm ? Years ago, when I was a kid, the storms were so frightening the whole family would hide under the dinning room table. The ground would vibrate, as tho the Earth was cracking & I kinda liked that scarey feeling  Very Happy

Spring. Time for young ladies to perch, preen, and promenade.

And eat ice cream.

hah, wow much spring so cool. literally. cool. it's like sunny and u think "man, imma wear shorts today!" and u step out and this icy-ass wind, like fucking elsa's doing, hits you in the face and your cold to the fuking bone.

also we don't have a mcDonalds here.. and we'll probably never have one either. the reason is pretty stupid. all i want now is some mcdonalds ice-cream or something.. or the fact that we just have one....... every goddamn place has one... even small-ass villages... but not us.. i guess i should be happpy reallly.. but still the reason is pretty stupid.. i hate you canada!
