Even if there are big YES wins in Glasgow and a few other heartlands, I don't think it would be enough to overturn this. The NO margins coming in right now are really big.

Glasgow and surrounds could still swing it- its not over in terms of the numbers yet. But its going to need really big wins.

And my own area, Argyll and Bute is still to come in. Obviously thats of particular interests to me.

Nah, but that's because there is a lot of precedent to base projections on, and because so many states vote very predictably. There's also exit polls to factor into calculations. The Scottish referendum has none of those things, so it's much harder to project. But the last hour certainly seems to be heading in a consistent direction.

But yeah, you need Glasgow and Edinburgh to be sure.

Another NO vote in Perth- going to need some big YES swings- not looking good.

Looking about right Bungo- its closer than my prediction, I had no idea who might win, but I reckoned it would be a clear 60/40 for the winner, but looks like it will be a bit closer than that.

Which is good for holding the NO side to their promises at least.
