Re: The Riddle-Game
I was going to say one in the floor, as that would be a trapdoor. Though I guess a trapdoor is simply a more specialized door and therefore falls in under the more general door definition.

With thieves I consort, With the vilest, in short, I'm quite at ease in depravity; Yet all divines use me, And savants can't lose me, For I am the center of gravity!

All the possible (but unlikely) answers I can think of trade in unsavory national stereotypes.

Re: The Riddle-Game
- Spoiler:
- Paddy O'Furniture = patio furniture. Which stays outside in the back yard, even when it rains. With "Paddy" being a nickname/slang term for Irish people, and O'___ being a common element in Irish surnames.
Re: The Riddle-Game
But of course! Thanks Eldo.
Oh and:

Re: The Riddle-Game
I bet you all thought you'd buried this thread deep enough for it never to return!
But, like bad Jacksonian witch-king plot developments, it keeps coming back from the dead!!
This is a slightly strange one that I thought of while in the shower, take that for what it's worth.
A firmament of dark green is broken asunder,
and the hope of the future spills forth in chunks of crimson flesh.
(Edited for maximum gore.)
