I'm afraid you will just have to use your imagination- if its any help I was wearing a figure hugging short red dress (sparkly too), had my hair cut short and made sort of spiky, and dyed pink, but I could not get the hang of walking in heels- I have no idea how you lot do it without breaking your ankle every other step  Mad
And my evening involved finding myself standing in the VIP section of a Glasgow nightclub trying to explain my attire to some of the cities most notorious gangsters. (They were very friendly, some of them in fact were very friendly Mad ).
Needless to say an awful lot of buckie was also involved that night, in fact that week, and that month, and most of the months surrounding it and some of the years.  drunken

I've done the drag thing (group I hang out with used to have drag races....you can imagine the details), but the spiky hair is impressively beyond the call of duty.

Heels...I'll never understand the lure. Women who wear them must have aliens implanted in their brains.

Like to a star am I,
Yet below, not above.
And in truth, opposite effect have I,
Producing what it defeats.

I drink the blood of the sun,
All warm things are my feast.
Strangling the strong is my fun,
I devour both man and beast.

A bit obvious perhaps, but it's time someone posted a new riddle.

Crab was, of course, the last answer.

Geoducks don't really have "boney knees."
So nope, that was not it. No matter how phallic they may be they aren't the answer to everything!

I see that my attempts to replace the most obvious clues with subtleties has over-obfuscated the riddle. Let me make a few small changes.

Like to a star am I,
Yet below, not above.
And in truth, opposite effect have I,
Producing what it defeats.

I drink the blood of the sun,
All living things are my feast.
Trapping the strong is my fun,
I devour both man and beast.

Alright there we go.

And no, not any kind of jellyfish or sea creature.

Bloody geoducks on people's minds.  Mad Mad
