Im fond of this piece, I like the warm booming sound of a well handled organ, the bigger the better. And, within a huge church or cathedral so you get the full benefit of it !..........

Yes, those old organs have a pleasant throbbing feeling to them. But keeping the rhythm going is key, and don't rush to reach the climax. The quiet peaceful feeling when it all ends is nice too.

Yes! I am working with the rhapsody now, but I think I will ask my teacher if he have some notes. Ewazen is beautiful, yes!

Nice. You can tell he didn't start by playing trombone; those people play euphoniums like foghorns.

Note how his shirt is not tucked in. We euphonium folks got no pretensions.

Decided here was a better place for this than the games thread. I replaced the Sykrim menu music with this version of it, a more ballad take on 'The Dragonborn Comes' (I have a follower Sophia who makes a very rude joke about that title!)

I am currently watching Norc on an orchestra practice. They are playing a concert on Sunday in the local church with a solo guitarist. Some kind of Spanish music. I think norc can catch you up with what they are playing. Since their first practice this autumn, they have gotten much better, so I think they will do just fine!

Fixed that for you. Looks nice.

I miss winter, we almost didn't have one last year.  But norc will only get fed up if I start bringing that up again.

We had a crapton more snow than normal last winter, and the severity and length of it all wasn't great for my mood, but I do generally like snow and hope to see some this year. Not in September though.

Also, huffjuff, if your computer BSODs on you that often, you should look into running Linux instead of Windows. Though it could be a hardware problem, in which case switching operating systems wouldn't help.

Okay, so today I mustered up the courage to listen/watch one of my performances from about 3 years ago. Some mistakes, but whatev. There are some moments in here that I'm really proud of, and I wanted to share it with you all.
