Re: Music [2]
Didn't really know where to put this, but as I discovered it because of the music it belongs here IMHO...
Two Steps from Hell's latest soundtrack project "Colin Frake on Fire Mountain" is just EPIC!
Actually it is an enhanced e-book of the same name written by Nick Phoenix accompanied by illustrations from Otto Bjornik (released only a few days ago)
Try this:
If you wanna listen to the full soundtrack:
45 of the most epic minutes ever

I figured that the mask was just decorative, but is the drummer a burn victim or something?

Re: Music [2]
Okay, Eldo may have to help me out with this. I just read a story about one of Fun's founders, and he said that We are Young started the rage of blending Indy Rock sounds with hip-hop back beats. I hear the indy, I didn't hear the hip-hop. Is he just talking about the background vamps? If so it didn't jump out at me, but what do I know?

Re: Music [2]
I didn't catch who you meant for a minute there Halfwise. I was thinking... "we are young... Supergrass?"
By the by, can we attempt to keep down loading difficulties in this thread by using spoilers? I don't know, might help smooth things out for some of us.
In another vain, does anyone like The National? I've heard them on the radio a couple times now, I really liked these two songs:
OK so I could only find one of them. But I'm almost certain it's the same group. I just can't seem to find the song; it's really annoying me now too!

Re: Music [2]
Well maybe it was a different group. I remember the lyrics being strangely similar to Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire." The song was was moody and had a descending chorus: similarly to "I need my girl."
The singer's voice was similar to, but had greater range perhaps.
Oh duh, I just found it. I should have recognized it from The Spectacular Now
I guess this is what happens when you find yourself only listening to new music from the radio. Popular stuff gets played and that's usually it; depending on the station of course.
