ok. so we're doing musical again. and fuck i am tired. four and a half hours of practice after school, same each day this weekend, it's crazy. then wednesday, premier thursday, show friday and two on saturday. then graduation thing in tae kwon-do on sunday. when the fuck am i supposed to do fucking homework! i have fucking chemistry and physics test next week!!! fuck fuck fuck fuck... if we were adults this wouldn't have been allowed.

besides. it is not fun to sit for 20 minutes and wait for the dancers to figure out what they are suppsoed to do.. we're not a CD-player! we're a fucking musical orchestra with proper musician! high-schoolers and teachers mainly!! show some effing respect and be fucking prepared!

I work nights, I work weekends (I'm usually on here to escape work), think of your present predicament as good training.

and you can always text for help during the physics test. Just let us know when....

i can't because we don't have breaks in that matter of speaking, we're just waiting for the dancers and singers to be ready. we have to sit there and be ready to play at any minute.
(all in all we had one 20 minute break, and i spent it eating, not doing homework.)

we're not doing one specific musical, it is put together of different ones. we do "hot lunch jam" and "puttin' on the ritz" and "out here on my own" (fame) and "footloose" and "it's a hard knock lief" from Anni (which is translated to "it is a dog's life"/"et hundeliv" and the H is hard to pronounce when singing so it sounded like she sang "for et underliv" which roughly translates to "what a vagina".)

no. the thing is, if i was an adult and i had a job from eight to four/five, they wouldn't expect me to spend another four/five hours doing that with no breaks!

Hah! You think? When I was working in the Homes I used to do 8 till 8 up to 14 days in a row.
Work, go home, eat, sleep, work, go home, eat, sleep repeat till you dont know what day it is and you cant remember what being out in sunlight feels like.

Yeah, there's a reason orchestra musicians are probably the most heavily unionized groups in Norway. They have incredibly strict rules for brakes and working hours. I remember, when sitting in with the orchestra at the Opera House, that it didn't matter if the conducter or director was in the middle of something, if it was break time or end of rehearsal time they always took a brake or ended.

And you are doing 12 hour (probably 13-14 with homework) days to do this? Well, you're certainly a bit my hero for going through that to do the things you love.  Nod
