Eldorion wrote:And in case anyone is curious I was actually thinking about Ringo the superhobbit muscular army man, but I appreciate Norc suggesting an alternative interpretation!
That's a truth with modifications
I've finally finished the story too, and I also very much enjoyed it There are so many gems hidden inbetweeen lines and paragraphs, too many to list them all. Eldo's "wild escapades", Ally and Cc's conversation, Petty's Scottish - the list goes on. Though I think my favourite character in this story must be RA The way you concluded the RA/Lance/David bit I think was pure brilliance
“Well, you know what?” RA said angrily, “I don't care! There! I've had enough of this, I'm going home and I'm taking the shortcut through Russet Bog.”
And with that he spun on the spot and marched stiff limbed off into the trees.
“RA!” David called after him, “you don't want to do that.”
Lance turned to David with a shake of his head, “That's the last we will see him. Doesn't he know taking a shortcut through Russet Bog will get you killed in Forumshire?”
Theatres and plays have never been something for me, but if ever someone was to peform this play, I'd definitely buy a ticket

Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
yeah, i agree Ringo, the end there was superb. i mean finally actually mentioning something that will get you killed yes, i'de buy a theatre ticket for this. i'de even voluntarily play in it for no money
Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
Money you say! {{{Right Im sure I can stage this just with a big box with a lot of hats. 20 quid a ticket I think is fair! Plus another 20 for writers wages, and then 20 quid each for each part I play in it- yup about 200 quid a ticket then}}}

Amarie... I just read what you wrote & Im blushing !
Eldo, apart from a incorrigible interest in you todger, (I mean you can get a witness to make a statement ? ) I cant see Sam, Frodo or Bilbo any other way now ! thanks mate ! Its a fooking "Village People Reunion", sequins, feathers & all ! Sams smile is WAY to warm, Frodo eyes are WAY to recieving & Bilbo is in the early experimental years !
And my emoticon thingy-me-bobby is playing up also ?
Oh, & as to "forum rules" etc, well, you can chuck THAT out the window ! after reading all these threads, is there ANYTHING left sacred ? ANYTHING a kid could read ? (without going blind in a corner & extra under pants ??) Mmm? X

Well obviously he is making sure it works for you Norc! Thats hardly a suprise!
All I get is an eternal loading wheel- oddly I can add them if I edit my own post- but thats a bit of a hassle having to post it and then edit it to add the smileys.

I see the smilies if I click on the "post reply" button, instead of using the quick reply.

Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
The smileys have been working fine for me. The problem with the finger one is that despite trying twice -- and showing up in the admin panel both times -- the forum seems to think it doesn't exist.
Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
try.. with like.. idk.. sure the image address is correct?

Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
I find it rather fitting that a 'fuck you' smiley refuses to cooperate.

Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
I think the introduction of that smiley has considerably lowered the tone of proceedings on here, and thats quite surprising as I didnt actually think it could get any lower.
