In any event, I've found things run smoother here when everyone remembers Forumshire Rule #4.

I'm rarely entirely serious.
yes, and u brought it up, but i told u how i felt about u being a whining asshole sometimes and that you should have sympathies for people who don't know how to internet. (and that i do know shite)
Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
Sometimes I think we created a monster by having a forum where a post like Norc's doesn't even raise eyebrows, but then I think about the alternative. I love you guys.

Freedom Eldo! It burns but it feels good.

Norc wrote:what do you mean by "a post like Norc's"?
I mean like the post directly above mine. If you don't understand why that would be frowned upon at most (read: nearly all) forums, then ... you don't know how good you guys have it here.

Y'all would be banned multiple times over if I applied the same standards here that I did as a moderator on LOTR Plaza. So would I, for that matter.

Re: A Midsummer Nights Dream (in Forumshire)
You do miss out on some of the artistry of elaborately crafted replies that combine battles of logical reasoning with a rhetorical dance to see who can tip-toe closest to the line between openly calling someone a dumbass and merely insinuating that the level of intelligence expressed in their posts brings to mind donkeys and/or feces. Only the greatest could play that game.

And who's fault is it that the story isn't being posted right now?
