Sorry to be out of touch these past few weeks. It's been very busy here on the set… What would you say to a little studio tour?

Word on the street is that there will be another production diary coming out soon. It could be the last one since production will be wrapping soon and I don't know if they plan to release more vlogs while they're in post.

HI! Sorry I've been gone forever, I've had finals and the SAT and ACT and friends' graduations and BLAH!!!! I'm about to explode! So I thought I'd blow off some steam and post about the video blog in the wee hours of the night. First off, I"m going to be extremely girlish and dote about the hotties. YAY Luke Evans, and Aidan Turner, AND Orlando Bloom at the end, I swooned! There wasn't much content wise to go off of, but as far as sets go, I still REALLY don't like the weird colors in Mirkwood or the weird colors in general. I'm still not convinced it will look better in the movie. But at this point, I'm just very excited to see it, regardless of the horrible script that's bound to be used. Wow, I really have been gone awhile! What have I missed?

No spoilers that I could see Norc, just really really cool stuff on set, there is stuff about the set design, and makeup, and prosthetics, I bet if you stop the frames you can see some of the designs for Rivendell and the elves, I saw one elf head prosthetic but I dont know what its for, also there looked like the White council set in minature. They blocked any spoilers

Your Maj! You missed the Annual Picnic- and I aint even starting on that! You missed seeing Ally blossom into a proper Channleler under Wisey's Professorship (well he told me thats what it was!) and Mirabella dumped Pretty publicly and some sort of horrible war is now coming because of it.

But welcome back- place is not the same without our Monarch.


06:18- barrels in rapids!!! What did I say when they were doing the location stuff on the river?- that he'd do rapids in a tank! I hate being right about PJ and the Coven!! But they are so easy to predict, just think of the worst travesty they can do and thats the one they wll have gone for.

my honest reaction though:

Rapids for the barrels- as boringly predicted on here months and months ago- Bombur boucing people off his stomach -as predicted on here long ago-the trolls scene descending into a fight- again dull and predicted on here long ago, plus all the bad lore madeup Ringwraith nonsense- which is so far out the Tolkien park nobody could have predicted it -its strange Norc because all my doubts are being confirmed one by one.

at 3.40 there is an elf crouching as one of the dwarves skateboards past, is it Tauriel? and at around 12.14 more elves maybe of Rivendell.

Cant see the elf Mrs Figg- at 3.58 just got stunt bloke talking.
But whats the dwarf swinging about headbutting something supposed to be about?-on the green screen stage- is he leaping onto Smaug to headbut him? Or a troll? Whatever it is its made me very crabbit indeed.

do you see the dwarf skateboarding? well the elf is crouching next to him. the timing may be different for you but its there honestly, he/she is dressed in brown with a bow and arrows on his/her back, it looks good3.40

Yes I see them now- think its male but not certain and def looks like an elf. Bet that skateboard is an actual film prop knowing PJ.
