In August, I started a spam thread with the title "Get a free eBook! Just post a review!" My new and completely different thread is titled "FREE COPY OF THE WOBBIT A PARODY, NO STRINGS ATTACHED." This new offer comes without any requests for anyone to post reviews or do anything.

You're right, it does seem pretty self-serving and gratuitous (so what else is new?). Seriously though, I'll keep all future giveaways on this one thread. Glad we could correspond in a thread not related to either sex & violence or religion. Although the exchange of ideas here is always remarkable.

Was it you that said a kitchen table with beers on it would be a better venue? I agree. If only that were possible.
