Congrats to James Cordon for winning a Tony Award for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors.
And he some very stiff competion too- James Earl Jones, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Frank Langella and John Lithgow.

He was of course Craig Owens in Who, appearing as the character in two episodes (The Lodger and Closing Time), one for each of Matt Smiths two series as the Doctor.

Mainly to wind up Mrs Figg (but also any excuse for a pic) Karen Gillan has picked up an award at the Scottish Fashion Awards!

yuck, red heads should never wear yellow.

In fairness to her being a good Scots lass she got changed in a toilet as she was late getting there from camping out at the Rock Ness festival. My sort of girl!

And my reply to the use of the word 'yuck' in any association with Miss Gillan shall be met with these pics! Nought yuck there and no mistake!

I'm getting the feeling that we have a fangirl here.. a pretty serious fangirl, and it's not me for once.

If the next companion does similar photoshots I am sure I will find it in my heart to be her fan too!

hmm I was actually referring to the ugly yellow dress /red hair combo, there were obviously no mirrors in those toilets.

It was a fashion award-she's Scottish, she was probably taking the piss. And frankly any excuse to put up those pics is a good excuse

Superb 50th anniversary vid by MintyJ. Its over 7 minutes long but well worth the watch. Warning it does contain spoilers for Nu Who episodes, in particular series 5 & 6 (Dont worry Mrs Figg they dont feature more just those series is more susceptible to spoilers than others, theres plenty Eccy for you too!)

First part of the Star Trek/Who crossover comic is out- cant speak as to story as I havent read it yet, but the artwork certainly sems nice enough. And Borg and Cybermen seems appropriate enough given the Borg are just ST version of Cybermen.
