Might actually get out of the office today and take some pictures of where I work. It looks nice when the weather is good. Was also hoping to pop onboard a canadian destroyer that was moored up but that left yesterday! Mad

An hour commute sucks- I used to have to communte to an outlying job years ago- that was about an hour and twenty in a bumpy old van going through country lanes at unsafe speeds- I used to try to sleep through it.

They used to pick all the staff from town up in one van then head out up country to the workplace.

The train sucks every day. Get one day a week working at home which helps. 2.5-3 hours a day travelling is such a huge waste of life!!

I just hate the commute!

The shops are better, the galleries & museums are better, theres tons of night life, its very cosmopoliton, so much to see & do, as you say, Lance. Actually, you could have a months holiday there & only scratch the surface Nod London can be vibrant, exciting & scarey all at the same time ! Ive been many times & each time it feels like the whole worlds been compacted into this tiny world called London !. The mix of people is amazing. So many different cultures, smells of cooking, colours, events etc ! But give me a cosy ramshackle cottage hidden far away in the countryside anytime, where I can be secretive & quiet, & no-one knows where I am !

I've only had a few days in London, but I might say it's a better tourist destination than New York. Far more beautiful.
