Lesson learned: don't ever watch early version videos of the animals performing House of the Rising Sun. This is not what I expected - I think I'm scarred forever. If you love this song (and who doesn't?) fair warning, you may want to avoid.

There was many a young group all suited & booted looking as though they don't know what they are doing here

Computer game music is used in much the same way that it is in film or television, to set the tone of the scene. I am sure that most people could remember some iconic music from films but I bet there aren't too many people that can do the same from computer games.
I have mentioned Destiny quite a lot as it is a game that I play the most since it is easy to dip in and out of when I have time. While there are plenty of issues, there are 2 things that they always nail... the screen art and the music. Here is one of my favourite tunes from the current version of the game (worth a listen with good headphones and up loud!!)
This second one is quite in keeping with the theme of the main storyline. I would be interested to read what themes/pictures come to mind when you hear it!

I just found out that Howard Shore was the band leader for Saturday Night Live around the time Dan Ackyroyd and John Belushi formed the Blues Brothers - in fact he was the one who suggested the name!
