Had no idea The National was the band performing Rains of Castamere - pretty cool. Have you listened to more of their albums, Forest? I'd recommend Boxer and The Virginia EP for starters if you're just getting into them. Some great songs there

Re: Music [3]
Saw the Moody Blues this past June on their Days of Future Passed 50th Anniversary Tour. Tickets were spendy, but for sixth row seats it was worth it. Unreal experience. So glad I got to see them. I was pleasantly surprised at how many 20-somethings were at the concert along with baby-boomers, good to see younger people are also discovering the Moody's.
After seeing Metallica last year where I only knew a handful of their songs, it was nice to go to a concert where I was familiar with all the songs and could sing along. Justin Hayward's voice sounds just as good as it did 50 years ago IMO.

Re: Music [3]
Somehow the fact that Nirvana covered "The End" by The Doors totally passed me by until I saw a link to this video today.

Liking the funk.
To me, none of the apple product introduction music can compare to that for the macbook air. I was so impressed by it that when the performer came to NYC I went to see her perform.

Not what I would expect out of Marvin Gaye. Shows how dependent I am on what oldy station DJs choose to play.

Re: Music [3]
That one was new to me too until the past week or so. Another gem that WhoSampled.com directed me towards. In this case it was sampled in a Dr Dre-produced beat from the late '80s.
