Hard to imagine anyone but Viggo playing Aragorn.

Re: Lord of the Rings Humour: Parodies, Satires and More [4]
I may have posted that elsewhere - the main revelation was that Stuart Townsend didn't really work very hard to learn the skills his character needed, so he wasn't fired just because he looked too young. He insisted nobody talk about it when he was let go, which is why it took so long for the real story to get out.

Didn't want to learn how to ride Didn't want to do the sword fighting. Guy comes across as a bit of a jerk. Can't blame PJ for not wanting him.

You'd think somebody would be into learning new things if paid to do it with some of the best trainers on the planet. He's useless, small wonder his career went nowhere. Good riddance.

Well bowl me over and call me Brenda, what a horrible thought that we nearly had to tolerate Stuart " wheres my mirror" Townsend ! Thank gawd Jackson did something right ! Viggo is perfect as Aragorn. Any more stupid mistake would have made the film too Hollywoody

Felt the same. Not sure now about the Helm hammerhand movie coming out next year.

At least the Helm flick will be something new. This looks like it's trying to reproduce the PJ version shot by shot. Why bother?

Jumped around a bit. The images are repetitive but give some views of hobbiton we haven't seen before.

I got one of those Google Hub thingies in my bedroom. Some nights I say ,hey Google play the Shire music from Lord of the Rings. Thus will play. And I drift off to sleep.

In my mind the best music written for any films.
Simply superb .
Good bad and ugly comes next followed closely by Once upon a Time in the West.

You weren't captivated by Star Wars? None of it works without the music, but add the music and it's pure magic.
