Hey you buggers, thanks for the Birthday wishes!
I turned 25, a very respectable age, if I may say so.
For my birthday, I and a large group of family (and a small group of friends) went hiking in Pinnacles National Park. It's my thing, you know.
We even saw one of the California Condors out and about, which is always nice.
Anyway, it was excellent. Afterwards we had a fire at home and cooked Bavarian-style sausages and played Mafia. Have you guys played Mafia before? It's a lot of fun. I was the moderator/narrator for both rounds that we played, and I must say, my experience running D&D games came in quite handy!
As to why I've been away!
I was very confused and annoyed and bothered by all that crap that happened with Petty a while back, and I've been away because I didn't like the feel of things with Petty not being a real member and this whole "New Order of Non-Who Discussion" theme that seemed to be popping up.
Is all that stuff done and over now? I hope it is; it was bothering me a lot.
Anyway, I've been busy learning more carpentry trade stuff, and fixing the bloody toilet at home (I had to rework the uneven slate floor underneath it with grout and what-not). I started paying rent at home. :/
I'm not sure whether that's a good idea or not, but what the hey: it can't hurt.

Good to see you around again, Forest! Glad to hear you had a good trip. I have played Mafia before, though not in a long time. Congrats on turning 25, and good luck with the carpentry stuff.
