Yeah, that'd be why I put up the clip about the shows origins and said - 'From Adventures in Space and Time, a docudrama about the shows creation (the man who came up with the concept was also Canadian, Sydney Newman)'

Now - if only Mrs Figg would wach this clip, she might begin to understand that Who is not James Joyce (or Joseph Conrad, Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky or Rudyard Kipling), it's Who. Just saying...

No one has ever accused me of being intelligent before.... (Well, Petty did once, but I now realise he only said it to soften me up because he'd run out of buckie and wanted a shot term loan ----- I still haven't got the money back yet!   )

One of the things I love about Who is that it can entrance and delight, and inspire a six year old child, whilst at the same time reduce grown men to fighting back the tears.

no but you have mentioned Moffat quite a lot.

Not in this discussion I havent - last time his name even came up was a page ago, twice- once as part of quoting a news report from Gallifrey Base on what he was saying at the Anatomy of a Hit discussion, and once to direct Leelee to my sig quote as part of my explanation for why I love the show so much (and the quote is Moffat describing the genius of the original people who created the character).
